Latham Road under construction until mid-November

Construction began today on Latham Road and will continue until mid-November. The road will remain open to local traffic, but delays should be expected while reclamation and paving is underway.

The work is being paid for by a combination of funds from the Town’s Paving Fund, the Public Works’ fund balance (leftover surplus from previous years), leftover monies from the $4 million bond issued for Route 132, and a $200k grant from VTrans.

Repairs to Latham Road began in 2016 but encountered numerous delays.
